FAQs on M&As
After Pre-notification Consultations (“PNC”) with the Mergers and Acquisitions Office (“MAO”), and at least two days before the targeted submission date of notification forms, the parties may notify their intention to submit an Expedited Review Notification form. Should the MAO find the proposed transaction eligible for an expedited review, considering that there are no concerning competition issues brought about by the transaction, the MAO will conduct an abridged 15-day review of the transaction.
