Welcome!
The UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is delighted to host the 24th ICN Annual Conference in Edinburgh from Wednesday 7 to Friday 9 May 2025.
The ICN is a forum for competition agencies worldwide to share experiences, develop consensus on key issues and foster a more harmonised approach to competition law.
The annual conference brings these agencies together to have an open dialogue and share ideas and best practices. This benefits all agencies, ensuring consistency and efficiency in competition enforcement in the interest of promoting competition on behalf of consumers and fair-dealing businesses.
Our aim for the programme is to create an inspiring space for policy discussions, build stronger relationships between ICN Members and foster effective competition law enforcement worldwide. The agenda for the conference has been designed to share and promote understanding of the latest outputs on the critical developments occurring in global competition law. The key sessions provide a particular focus on the role of competition in driving growth and the impact of technology for agencies worldwide.
The CMA is proud to welcome the ICN community to Edinburgh. Edinburgh is Scotland’s capital city and is known for its rich cultural history and distinctive medieval architecture. From historical sites such as Edinburgh Castle, to the stunning cobbled streets of the Royal Mile, there is plenty to see and do during your time in the city.
We look forward to welcoming you to the ICN Annual Conference 2025 in Edinburgh.
