The Regional Roadshow on Competition Law and Policy is Philippine Competition Commission (PCC)’s advocacy caravan in key regional centers designed to reach out to local government units (LGUs), field offices of national government agencies (NGAs), sector regulators (SRs), government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs), micro-, small, and medium enterprises, business chambers and trade associations, the media and consumer groups.
The roadshow intends to promote widespread awareness of the principles of competition law and policy among various stakeholders in the public and private sector and inform them about the principal provisions of the Philippine Competition Act (PCA) and the functions and powers of the PCC. Anchored on the regional development context, the roadshows aim to increase understanding of the benefits of competition for consumers and business alike at the local level.
