The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) joins the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and other key government agencies in launching the Philippine Development Plan 2017-2022, one of the four medium-term roadmaps of the “Ambisyon Natin 2040” project.

For the first time in socio-economic planning history, a dedicated chapter on market competition has been included, which has laid out the priority projects and targets of PCC.

Chapter 16 of the PDP 2017-2022 is focused on the role of PCC in leveling the playing field through a National Competition Policy.

In today’s PDP launch and expo dubbed as “Aksyon Para sa Ambisyon,” PCC joins the Department of Finance (DOF) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in representing the Economic Environment cluster.
