WORKSHOP ON GENDER DEVELOPMENT (GAD) AGENDA FOR 2020-2025
PCC CONDUCTS A TRAINING ON GENDER ANALYSIS TOOL ON 07 TO 08 NOVEMBER 2018 THAT AIMS TO :
A two-day training workshop on the use of Gender Mainstreaming and Evaluation Framework and Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines.
PCC CONDUCTS A GENDER SENSITIVITY TRAINING (GST) ++ ON 25 TO 27 OCTOBER 2017 THAT AIMS TO :
- Increase awareness on the basic concepts of GAD and Gender Analysis and its relevant tools;
- Increase appreciation on gender mainstreaming and the Philippine Gender Mainstreaming Strategy;
- Increase understanding of the role of the government and PCC in the implementation of the Magna Carta for Women;
- Develop in-depth understanding of Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework and Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines;
- Equip participants with the necessary tools to develop and GAD Plan and Budget (GPB) and Accomplishment Report (AR); and
- Build camaraderie among the members of the GFPS.
PCC Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System (GFPS)
Pursuant to the provision of Section 36(b) of Republic Act (R.A) No. 9710, also known as the Magna Carta for Women (MCW), all government agencies are mandated to establish and institutionalize the Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System (GFPS).
The GFPS is one of the institutional mechanisms that will ensure and lead gender mainstreaming in government offices.
Through Special Order no. 131 dated September 2017, and the Special Order on the Reconstitution of the GPFS and Move dated May 2023, the PCC GFPS is constituted as follows:

PCC policies on gender equality to ensure gender responsiveness in its systems, structures, programs, processes and procedures.
A comprehensive report on the achievements of programs and projects achieved and its corresponding cost upon implementation.
A systematically designed set of programs, projects and activities with corresponding budget carried out over a given period of time to address the gender issues and concerns of the PCC’s internal and external stakeholders.
It systematizes PCC’s approach to gender mainstreaming, women’s empowerment and gender equality.
