The Campus Tour on Competition Law and Policy is part of PCC’s intensified advocacy efforts to promote a culture of competition in the country, which stems from a wider appreciation and deeper understanding of how competition policy makes fair and effective markets beneficial for our economy. To effect culture change requires that we start with the young, arming them with the information that would help them promote fair markets.
Since its inception in 2017, the campus tour has made waves in Metro Manila. The following year, the PCC started extending its outreach to other regions and provincial campuses. Originally intended for college students, the target audience of the campus tour now includes Senior High School (SHS) students taking the academic track, specifically the Accountancy, Business and Management Strand. This initiative is in line with the observance of the Economic and Financial Literacy Week (EFLW) provided in R.A. No. 10922.
