In pursuance of Presidential Proclamation No. 1870, s. 1979, as amended by Presidential Proclamation No. 361, s. 2000, the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) joins the whole nation in the celebration of the 45th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week on 17-23 July 2023.

For 2023, the theme “Person with Disabilities Accessibility and Rights: Towards a Sustainable Future where No One is Left Behind” aims to create a more inclusive society where differently abled people are free to fully participate in all aspects of life. It also aims to improve the quality of life for differently abled people by ensuring that they have access to the necessary resources and support. Honoring the differently abled community can help create a more inclusive society, as celebrating their achievements sends a message that everyone belongs. This, in turn, can contribute to fostering a more welcoming and accessible environment for everyone.

There are several ways you can join the Campaign. Visit the National Council on Disability Affairs’ Facebook page and website.
